ETEM WAS A MAJOR SUPPORTER OF THE “EUROPEAN ALUMINIUM CONGRESS”

With the need to reduce CO2-emissions, the use of lightweight materials, aluminium, has become an indispensable material in motor cars. The congress, focused on aluminium as a material with sustainable performance, on the growing number of applications and state of the art aluminium production processes used in automotive industry. Future developments were outlined, that would make tomorrow’s vehicles lighter, more energy efficient and with higher safety standards.During the Congress, representatives from the automotive industry, manufacturers of semi-finished products and sub-suppliers presented the latest innovative and trendsetting solutions.ETEM, a supplier of major European motor companies, such as Daimler, BMW, Audi and many more, presented during the conference all recent production developments and novelties concerning the automotive sector. Special presentation was made by ETEM on the company’s newly assigned projects, such as Jaguar and Land Rover, and the applications the different aluminum parts will have in the vehicles.
